Hadith 242
`Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says:` Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) sent me during that Hajj (which was performed before the Farewell Pilgrimage and in which Sayyiduna Abu Bakr was the leader of all) with the announcers on the Day of Sacrifice so that we could proclaim in Mina that after this year no polytheist should perform Hajj and no one should circumambulate the Ka'bah naked. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) after Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) and ordered him to announce Surah Bara'ah. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that thus Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) announced among the people of Mina with us on the Day of Sacrifice: "After this year, no polytheist should perform Hajj and no one should circumambulate (the Ka'bah) naked."
