Mukhtasar Bukhari

Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: "I used to comb the hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while I was menstruating."

In one narration, it is mentioned that (Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa, may Allah be pleased with her, says) the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would observe i'tikaf in the mosque and would extend his blessed head into the room of Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and she, while in the state of menstruation, would remain in her room and comb the blessed hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
