Hadith 203
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: We all set out from Madinah with only the intention of Hajj. Then, when we reached (the place) Sarif, I began menstruating. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me while I was crying, and he said: “What has happened to you, have you started menstruating?” I said, “Yes.” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “This is something Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam, so do what the pilgrim does, except do not perform Tawaf of the Ka’bah.” Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says (then) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered a sacrifice of a cow on behalf of his wives.
