Hadith 153
‘The conqueror of Persia, Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over the leather socks (khuffs). And Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) asked (his father) Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about this matter, so he said: Yes. When Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates any report to you from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then do not ask anyone else about it (for confirmation).’
