Hadith 48
Narrated Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "The lawful is clear and the unlawful is (also) clear, and between them are doubtful matters which many people do not know. So whoever avoids the doubtful matters has protected his religion and his honor, and whoever falls into doubtful matters is like a shepherd who grazes (his animals) near a sanctuary; it is likely that he will soon enter it. Beware! Every king has a sanctuary, and beware! The sanctuary of Allah on His earth is His prohibited things. Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body; if it is sound, the whole body is sound, and if it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. Beware! That piece is the heart."
