Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "(When) the people of Paradise will have entered Paradise and the people of Hell will have entered Hell, then after that Allah Almighty will say (to the angels): 'Whoever has in his heart even a mustard seed's weight of faith, take him out (from Hell).' So they will be taken out from Hell, and they will have become blackened (by burning). Then they will be thrown into the stream of Hayat (rain) or the stream of Life." These words of doubt are from Imam Malik (who is one of the narrators of the hadith). "Then they will become fresh as a seed grows fresh in the flow of water. (O person!) Have you not seen that it comes out yellow and intertwined?"

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "While I was sleeping, I saw (in a dream) that people were being presented before me and they were wearing shirts. Some shirts reached only up to their chests, and some were even shorter, and 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) was also presented before me, and the shirt he was wearing was so long that he was dragging it (as he walked)." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! How did you interpret it?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "(The shirt) means religion."
