Hadith 8
`Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that` the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Islam is built upon five (pillars): (1) Bearing witness that there is no deity except Allah and bearing witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, (2) establishing prayer, (3) giving zakat, (4) performing Hajj, (5) fasting in Ramadan."
