Mukhtasar Bukhari

The hadith of Sayyiduna Ibn Abi Awfa and the statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that "Dismount and prepare sattu (barley drink) for me" has already been mentioned (see the previous hadith in the chapter: Fasting and breaking the fast during travel), and in this narration (Sayyiduna Ibn Abi Awfa, may Allah be pleased with him) says that (the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said): "When you see that the signs of night have appeared from this side, then break your fast." And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pointed with his finger towards the east.
