Sayyiduna Abu Humayd Sa‘idi (may Allah be pleased with him) says that we returned from Tabuk with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When we approached near Madinah, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "This is 'Taba'." (i.e., he referred to Madinah as 'Taba').
