‘Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him to go with Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and to perform ‘Umrah for her from Taneem. And Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik bin Ju’sham (may Allah be pleased with him) met the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at Jamrah ‘Aqabah when he was throwing pebbles at it. He asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Is this act of changing Hajj into ‘Umrah specific to you?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, “No! Rather, this is permissible forever.”
