It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he would throw seven pebbles at the first Jamrah, saying Takbeer after each pebble. Then he would move forward until he reached level ground, face the Qiblah, stand for a long time, raise his hands, and make supplication. Then he would perform the Rami of the middle Jamrah, then move to the left, and upon reaching level ground, he would face the Qiblah, stand, raise his hands, and make supplication, remaining standing in this manner. Then, from the lower part of the valley, he would throw pebbles at Jamrah Aqabah and would not stay there but would return, and he used to say: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) doing this.
