What to eat and give in charity from the sacrificial animal
Hadith 849

Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): We used to not eat the meat of sacrifice for more than three days, and that too only in Mina (it was prohibited to take the meat outside Mina). After that, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) granted us permission and said: "Eat and take it with you." So we ate and brought it along.
