Mukhtasar Bukhari

Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: We set out from Madinah on the 25th of Dhu al-Qa'dah... This hadith has already been mentioned before (see the chapter: The explanation of Tamattu', Qiran, and Ifrad Hajj, and the permission for one who does not have a sacrificial animal to change his Hajj into 'Umrah...). Here, in this narration, it is further mentioned that on the day of sacrifice, beef was brought before us, so I asked, "What kind of meat is this?" The one who brought it replied, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered a sacrifice on behalf of his wives."
