Mukhtasar Bukhari

Umm al-Mu'mineen Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him), asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the matter with the people that they have come out of ihram after performing 'umrah, but you (peace be upon him) have not come out of ihram after performing 'umrah?" The Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "I have matted my hair and put a garland on my sacrificial animal, therefore I cannot come out of ihram until I have performed the sacrifice."
