Mukhtasar Bukhari

In another narration from Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), it is stated that we set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage (towards Makkah). Some of us assumed ihram for ‘Umrah, some assumed ihram for both ‘Umrah and Hajj, and some assumed ihram for only Hajj. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) assumed ihram for Hajj. So whoever assumed ihram for Hajj or for both Hajj and ‘Umrah did not come out of ihram until the day of sacrifice arrived.
