Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made it obligatory to give one sa’ of dates or barley as Zakat-ul-Fitr on every Muslim, slave or free, male or female, young or old, and ordered that it be paid before the people go out for (Eid) prayer.
