`Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him):` "A man from the Children of Israel asked another for a loan of one thousand dinars, so he gave them to him. (Coincidentally) the debtor went on a journey, and the time for repayment arrived (but there was a sea between them). So he went to the sea, but found no means (to ride and reach the creditor to repay the debt). Therefore, he took a piece of wood, made a hole in it, placed one thousand dinars inside, and threw it into the sea, and prayed to Allah to deliver it to the creditor. So the man who had given the loan (coincidentally, one day passed by the sea) saw that piece of wood. He picked it up for his family’s firewood (then the entire hadith was narrated, at the end of which was this): When he split the wood, he found his money inside it."
