Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a dead goat which had been given in charity to a slave woman of Umm al-Mu'mineen Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Why do you not benefit from its skin?" The people said: "It was dead." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Its prohibition is only in eating it."
