Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The example of a miser and a charitable person is like two men who are wearing iron armor from their chests up to their necks. When the generous person wants to spend, his armor becomes loose or (he said) it becomes loose on his body until it covers his fingers and expands. But when the miser wants to spend something, every ring of the armor stays firmly in its place; he tries to loosen it, but it does not become loose."
