Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated from Ummul Momineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man (Saad bin Ubadah, may Allah be pleased with him) said to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): "My mother has passed away suddenly, and I think that if she could speak, she would surely have instructed to give charity. So if I give charity on her behalf, will she receive any reward?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Yes."
