Mukhtasar Bukhari

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Whoever accompanies a funeral will receive the reward of one qirat. So Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to narrate many ahadith to us about this. (Then he had this hadith inquired about from Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)), so she confirmed Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: Yes, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say this. So Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Then we have missed out on many qirats (i.e., rewards).
