Ameer-ul-Mu'mineen Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The deceased is punished because of the weeping of his relatives over him." After the martyrdom of Ameer-ul-Mu'mineen Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), this matter reached Umm-ul-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), so she said: "May Allah have mercy on Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). By Allah! The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not say that a believer is punished because of the weeping of his relatives, rather the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Allah increases the punishment of a disbeliever because of the weeping of his relatives.'" And after this she said: "The Qur'an (this verse) is sufficient for you: 'No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another.' (Surah Al-An'am: 164)" __QUR_N__ __XREF_N__ __REF_N__
