Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "Among the trees, there is a tree whose leaves do not fall, and it resembles a Muslim. So tell me, which tree is that?" The people started thinking of the wild trees. Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: It came to my mind that it is the date-palm tree, but I felt shy to say it. Eventually, the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted: O Messenger of Allah! Please tell us which tree it is. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is the date-palm tree."
