Mukhtasar Bukhari

Sayyiduna Sa’ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) in another narration says that during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) there was only one mu’adhdhin, and on the day of Jumu’ah he would give the adhan only when the imam sat down, that is, when he sat on his pulpit.
