Hadith 471

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Buhaina (may Allah be pleased with him) says that he was from the tribe of Azd Shanu’ah and an ally of Banu Abd Manaf, and among the companions of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the people in the Zuhr prayer (one day), and (by mistake) stood up after the first two rak’ahs and did not sit, so the people also stood up with him. When he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) completed the prayer and the people were waiting for him to say salam, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said takbeer while sitting and performed two prostrations before saying salam, and then he said salam.
