Sayyiduna Rifa’ah bin Rafi’ Zurqi (may Allah be pleased with him) says that we were once praying behind the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), so (we saw that) when he (peace be upon him) raised his head from bowing, he said: “Sami’ Allahu liman hamidah.” Then a man behind him said: “Rabbana wa lakal hamdu hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fihi.” When the Prophet (peace be upon him) finished, he said: “Who was the one who spoke?” That man said: “It was I.” So the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “I saw more than thirty angels racing to see which of them would write it down first.”
