Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that two persons from among the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) left from the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on a dark night. (One of them was Sayyiduna ‘Abbad bin Bishr, may Allah be pleased with him, and I think the other was Sayyiduna Usayd bin Hudayr, may Allah be pleased with him.) And with both of them were two lamps (of light) which were shining in front of them. Then when they separated, one (lamp) remained with each of them, until they reached their homes.
