Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated by Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed facing Bayt al-Maqdis for sixteen or seventeen months. (Until Allah revealed verses 142 to 144 of Surah Al-Baqarah.) This hadith has already been mentioned before (see the Book: Explanation of Faith... Chapter: Establishing Prayer is part of Faith...). And the wording in both narrations is different.
