Hadith 226

Narrated from Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said to Amir al-Mu'minin Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him): "Do you not remember that we and you were on a journey and became in a state of janabah, so you did not pray, but I rolled myself in the soil and prayed? Then I mentioned this to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'It would have been sufficient for you to do like this.' (Saying this) he struck his both hands on the earth, blew into them, and then wiped his face and hands with them."
