When Allah’s punishment descends, all are afflicted.

Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah sends punishment upon a people, it befalls all the people of that community (whether they are righteous or wicked), and then they will be resurrected (on the Day of Judgment) according to their deeds."
