Mukhtasar Bukhari

A woman asked Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Should any of us make up the prayers missed during menstruation after becoming pure?" Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) replied, "Are you a Haruriyyah (i.e., from the Khawarij)?" Certainly, (when) we were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and would menstruate, but he did not order us to make up the prayers (missed), or (Umm al-Mu'mineen) said: We did not do so, i.e., we did not make up the missed prayers.
