Hadith 2120

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the earth will be like a loaf of bread which Allah, the Exalted, will turn over with His Hand, just as one of you turns over his bread during a journey. This will be a feast for the people of Paradise." (The narrator says) Then a Jew came and said, "O Abul-Qasim! May Allah bless you, shall I not inform you of the feast of the people of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Yes, tell me." He said the same as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said, that the earth (on the Day of Resurrection) will be like a loaf of bread. (The narrator says that) when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard this, he looked towards us and smiled until his blessed teeth became visible. Then the Jew said, "Shall I not tell you what its relish will be?" Its relish will be balam and noon. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "What are these?" He said, "Ox and fish." These ox and fish will be so large that a piece hanging from their liver will be eaten by seventy thousand people of Paradise.
