Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I used to apply perfume, which was the best fragrance of that time, to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with my own hand, and I would perceive the fragrance in his blessed head and beard.
