Mukhtasar Bukhari

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) in another narration says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no contagious disease, nor is there any (evil omen in the month of) Safar, nor is the owl (a sign of bad luck)." Upon hearing this, a Bedouin said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Then why is it that my camels are as lively and active as deer in the sandy desert, but when a mangy camel comes among them and mingles with them, they all become mangy because of it?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then from where did the first one get the mange?"
