Treatment with honey and Allah's statement about its healing.

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him):
A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "My brother has a stomach disorder (i.e., he has diarrhea)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Make him drink honey." So he went and made him drink it. Then he came back and said, "He did not get better." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Make him drink honey again." He went and made him drink it. Then he returned and said, "He still did not get better, and I have done everything." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah has spoken the truth (that 'in honey there is healing for people'), and your brother's stomach has lied. So let him drink honey." He kept giving him honey until he was cured.
