Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "There is healing (from illness) in three things: (1) drinking honey, (2) cupping, (3) cauterization with fire (but) I forbid my Ummah from cauterization."
