Narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to an Ansari, and a companion (Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him) was with him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to that person: "If you have water from the night (stale) in your waterskin, then serve it (from a vessel), otherwise we will drink directly from the trough." (The narrator) says that this person was watering his garden (that is why the Prophet, peace be upon him, said this). That person submitted, "Please come to the hut, I have water from the night (stale) (I will bring it)." So he took both of them there and brought water in a bowl and milk from his goat, which he milked into it, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) drank it, then the one who had come with him also drank.
