Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Usaid As-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he invited the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to his wedding (and at that time) his wife, who was the bride, kept serving all the people. He said, "Do you know what the bride gave the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to drink?" She had soaked some dates in a bowl overnight (and served that drink).
