Mukhtasar Bukhari

Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked, "Did you see refined flour during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He replied, "Not at all." (Then) he was asked, "Did you sift the flour of barley?" He said, "No, but we used to blow off (the husk) with our mouths after grinding."
