Mukhtasar Bukhari

Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I and the one who takes care of an orphan will be like this in Paradise,” and he indicated with his index finger and middle finger, leaving a small gap between them. (Benefit: Imam Bukhari refuted those who consider gestures permissible in matters like divorce but not in li’an, by clarifying here that gestures are also permissible in li’an and similar matters. Secondly, the complete ahadith regarding li’an have already been mentioned earlier, so they have not been repeated here for fear of repetition.)
