Mukhtasar Bukhari

It was asked from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): "How was the recitation of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" He said: He used to recite by elongating (stretching the words). Then (Sayyiduna Anas, may Allah be pleased with him) recited "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem" — in it, he elongated "Bismillah" and also elongated "ar-Rahman" and "ar-Raheem" (recited them by stretching).
