Mukhtasar Bukhari

Lady Umm ‘Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and this verse was recited: “That they will not associate anything with Allah.” And he forbade us from wailing (over the dead). Then a woman withdrew her hand from the pledge and said, “So-and-so woman helped me in wailing; should I not repay her?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say anything. She went away and (after wailing) came back, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted her pledge. (That woman was herself Umm ‘Atiyyah, may Allah be pleased with her.)
