Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah the Exalted has said: 'The son of Adam hurts Me (in the sense) that he abuses Time, and (what is Time?) I am Time; the matter is in My Hand, I alternate the night and the day.'"
