Mukhtasar Bukhari

Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Regarding this verse, "You have the option to keep away from whom you will of them (your wives), and you may take to yourself whom you will, and if you desire any whom you have set aside, there is no blame on you" (Al-Ahzab: 51), after its revelation, whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wished to go to another wife on the turn of one, he would seek permission from the one whose turn it was. So I used to say, "O Messenger of Allah, if you ask me, then because of my love for you, I do not like you to go to anyone else."
