Mukhtasar Bukhari

Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I used to feel jealous of those women who would offer themselves to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and I would say, "What is this matter that a woman offers herself?" Then when Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: "You may defer (the turn of) any of them (your wives) that you please, and you may take to yourself any that you please; and if you desire any of those whom you have set aside, there is no blame on you," I said to the Prophet (peace be upon him), "I see that your Lord hastens to fulfill your wishes."
