Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): When this verse was revealed, "Say: He is able to send punishment upon you from above you," the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! I seek refuge in Your Face." Then Allah said, "Or from beneath your feet." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! I seek refuge in Your Face." Then Allah said, "Or to confuse you in sects and make you taste the violence of one another." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is lighter or easier than the previous punishments." (Surah Al-Ma'idah: 65)
