Hadith 1701

‘Mother of the Believers, Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), during his final illness, called Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her) and said something to her quietly, so she began to weep. Then he called her again and said something quietly, so she began to laugh. We (after the passing of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him) asked Lady Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she informed us that at first he said: “My soul will be taken in this illness.” Upon hearing this, I began to weep. The second time he said: “I will be the first among my family to meet you.” Upon hearing this, I became happy.
