Mukhtasar Bukhari

‘It is narrated from the conqueror of Persia, Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out for the Battle of Tabuk, he left Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) as his deputy in Madinah. So he (Ali) said, “Are you leaving me among women and children?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Are you not pleased that your status with me is like that of Harun (Aaron) with Musa (Moses), except that there will be no prophet after me?”
