Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him to Yemen, he asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the alcoholic drinks that were made there. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Which alcoholic drinks are those?" He replied that they were drinks made from honey and barley. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every intoxicating substance is forbidden."
