Narrated Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (may Allah be pleased with him): We used to consider miracles as blessings and favors from Allah, while you are afraid of them. We were on a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when the water became scarce. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If anyone has any leftover water, bring it." So people brought a vessel in which there was a little water. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put his hand in that vessel and then said: "Come, take the blessed water, and the blessing is from Allah." (Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him) says: I myself saw that water was gushing from the fingers of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and at that time, while eating, we used to hear the food glorifying Allah.
